2024 Summer Festival: July 22-31, University of Kansas

The 2024 Summer Camp Art Festival is an International Summer Camp that aims to discover talented artists and the young generation who are interested in chamber instrumental music and vocal music. Participants will have the opportunity to interact closely with internationally renowned music instructors and communicate the music techniques. The Summer Camp Festival includes four parts: Music Workshop, Master Class, lecture, and Concert Series. The 2024 Summer Camp will be held between July 22-31 at Kansas University, Lawrence, KS.

Senior Group: 21 July 2004 - 20 July 2010

Youth Division: 21 July 1991- 20 July 2004

REQUIREMENT

(1) Online Applicants are required to submit the links of their video recordings (Youtube as Unlisted) before the deadline.

(2) The videos need to be recorded in the horizontal/landscape orientation,

(3) The hands and faces of the instrumentalists must be clearly visible in the videos,

(4) The singers must be fully captured from head to the feet, with their faces clearly visible,

(5) Each instrumental solo work should not exceed 25 minutes, each ensemble work should not exceed 30 minutes, and each vocal work should not exceed 10 minutes,

(6) The recording must be done in one shot, without editing or assembling from multiple shots,

(7) The singers are required to use either live piano accompaniment or recorded piano accompaniment,

(8) All participants can apply for multiple groups simultaneously,

(9) All recordings must be original recordings without editing,

(10) No changes can be made once the videos have been submitted.

   Instrumental Student: 160 USD

   Vocal Student: 190 USD (with Voice& Stage Coaching)

   Instrumental Student: 1,690 USD (with Lodging)

   Vocal Student: 1990 USD (with Lodging)

Inclusions:

* Expenses for study during the Summer Camp Festival: piano practice, master classes, rehearsals, at least two concerts, ICVMI winner concert;

* Lodging (if applied) of the Summer Camp: the hotel next to the University of Kansas
